Delete your Kyura account
Google Play and App Store rules require a clear path to delete your account without installing anything first. Use the in-app setting, the form below, or email.
In the app
Delete from Settings
- Open Kyura and sign in.
- Go to Settings (or Account).
- Choose Delete account.
- Confirm. We remove your personal data subject to legal retention for billing or fraud prevention.
Cancel any active Premium subscription in Apple, Google, or Stripe before or after deletion so renewals stop.
Without the app
Email a deletion request
Send a request to [email protected]. Include the email on your Kyura account and whether you used App Store, Google Play, or the web.
We aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days. You will get a confirmation when it is done.
What we delete
- Profile details, saved recipes, meal plans, shopping lists, and personal price entries tied to your account
- Uploaded recipe images used for AI extraction
- Session and device tokens where applicable
Limited records may remain where Australian law or payment providers require them (for example transaction history). See our Privacy Policy.

Request deletion online
Submit the form with the email on your Kyura account. Use Topic "Account deletion" (pre-selected). We treat this as a formal deletion request.
